Pebblebrook High School: True Believers

Today, the incoming Freshman at Pebblebrook High School were surprised moments after checking in with their homeroom teachers.  Amid great fanfare, and a high-energy welcome from V-103’s Greg Street, the ninth graders learned that their high school had transformed.  Pebblebrook is serving as the pilot program in Cobb County Schools for Usher’s New Look Foundation.  Together, the school, the Cobb County School District, and Usher’s New Look have crafted several programs of study to help the class of 2019 and those that follow engage in classes more closely tied to real-world professional tracks.  These tracks will serve in compliment to Pebblebrook’s longstanding performing arts program.  The Digital Transformation team was on hand to support the school’s faculty as they unveiled the new Pebblebrook and Usher’s New Look.

The students were informed that not only would they have more options from which to choose in their high school educational tracks, but that several other incentives were being announced.  DJ Greg Street announced that any student named by Principal Joshua as an MVP based on overall attitude, hard work, and dedication, would receive $1,000.
